Beaches In Lake Tahoe To Explore By Boat

Lester Beach (West Shore)
There is a beautiful lagoon like swimming area with many facilities including rest rooms, hiking, camping etc.
To get to this beach, drive to D.L. Bliss on Highway 89 and straight through the park and campground.
This is a great spot to enjoy the sun and sand with your dogs.
You can let your pets run wild and enjoy the water with you.
There aren't any bathrooms here so keep that in mind but if you travel here by car, you can park for free!
Sand Harbor Beach (North Shore)
Sand Harbor beach is located on the East side of the lake.
This is one of the best beaches on the lake with 55 acres of sand harbor.
There are lots of facilities including parking, a visitor center, tables, camping facilities and even a cove for scuba divers.
Baldwin Beach (South Lake Tahoe)
The perfect beach for families, this a large beach reaching over half a mile long for you to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Please keep in mind that dogs aren't allowed though.
Pope Beach (South Lake Tahoe)
A great place to enjoy a picnic, this beach is usually busy all year round.
There are plenty of trees to help with shade in the sun for those that burn easily.
There is a parking fee and dogs aren't allowed.
Hidden Beach (North Lake Tahoe)
This beach is brilliant for those looking for a more private beach experience.
Usually frequented by the locals, you can only see this beach by boat or looking over the guard rail on Highway 28 near Incline Village.
Kings Beach State Recreation Area (North Lake Tahoe)
This beach is located near the town of Kings Beach.
It gets a lot of sun so it's a great spot to hang out all year round. (when it isn't raining of course)
There's plenty to do including Kayaking, jet skiing etc. so it's a lot of fun.
